- Monitors product & process quality through return material authorization (RMAs), scrap and rejects.
- Takes action to contain, correct and solve quality concerns.
- Manages inspection department to ensure timely and efficient practices are being utilized so that products are monitored for correct requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and customers.
- Responds to Quality Assurance issues and provides resolution.
- Ability to travel to customer and vendor sites to solve product issues.

- Acting lead to organize and implement internal and external audits for the branch.
- Continuously evaluates quality systems, procedures and processes to ensure continuous improvement by using Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analytical tools.
- Machine Shop background in Quality Management
- Management experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control preferred
- Experience with a Quality Systems background including ISO9001 and ASD9100 experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- General knowledge of geometric tolerances (GD&T)
