Key Responsibilities:


  • Research and maintain technical specifications and standards to identify new industry practices
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and best practices
  • Ensure consistency of plans that are being submitted by various designers in terms of appearance, content, and plan set standards
  • Responsible for client deliverable requirements and must monitor/communicate field data collection methods to ensure these requirements are met
  • Solicit client feedback to improve service while continually developing client relationships out in the field
  • Develop quality control methods to assist designers with selfchecking their work
  • Participate in advanced product quality planning process
  • Researching code issues and working with city, state and county officials including plan processing, plan check followup and coordination and permitting

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, from an ABETaccredited university, a plus,
  • 5+ years' experience in the design or review of applicable projects,
  • 5+ years' experience in design engineering,
  • Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, and maps in AutoCAD Civil 3D,
  • Licensed as an Engineer in Training (EIT), a plus,
  • Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills,
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects concurrently.

Pay:
From $100,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Civil 3D: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Engineer In Training (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Ontario, CA: Relocate before starting work (required)
