    Work Schedule:
    Hours to be arranged; temporary appointment ends on/or before August 16, 2024; non-exempt classification.


    Essential Functions:

    Facilitator to EOP's Summer/Transfer Bridge, Summer Residential Program, Summer Workshop and Community Learning students may include teaching the following courses: Writing, Reading, Summer Bridge (SB) Seminar, Math, Kinesiology, Library Science, Communication Studies, History, Pan-African Studies (PAS), and/or Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies (CLS) to Bridge students.


    Required Qualifications & Experience: Strong background in the field they will be teaching; demonstrate clear and verbal communication skills.

    As a Facilitator to EOP's Summer/Transfer Bridge, Summer Residential Program, Summer Workshop and Community Learning courses for EOP students; may include teaching the following courses:
    Writing, Reading, SB seminar, Math, Kinesiology, Library Science, PAS, CLS, and/or Communication Studies to EOP students. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.

    A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University.

    Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current California State University employees who may apply for the position.

    California State University, Los Angeles, as part of the CSU system, is a State of California Employer. As such, the University requires all employees upon date of hire to reside in the State of California.

    As of January 1, 2022 the
    CSU Out-of-State Employment Policy prohibits the hiring of employees to perform CSU-related work outside the state of California


    Desired Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate field of study (Social Sciences, Natural Science, or Education).
