    Job Summary: Lookout Pest Control ("Lookout") and its private equity sponsor Percheron Capital are seeking a highly skilled Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to support our acquisition growth strategy through efficient data management and analysis. This role involves close collaboration with business owners and senior executives to gather and process crucial financial data, enabling the development and refinement of our valuation and underwriting models.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactively communicate with business owners to collect detailed financial and operational information.
    • Manage and optimize data collection and analysis processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial models.
    • Develop and maintain automated systems for processing large data sets using Excel, and preferably Python or SQL, to enhance the firm's M&A analytical capabilities.
    • Assist in refining the analytical framework for evaluating M&A and strategic growth opportunities.
    • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership team members and the Board of Directors.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, transaction services investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
    • Expertise in Excel and experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
    • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation is highly preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
    • Quick learner with ability to take initial direction and self-manage to complete assignments on time and to expectations while understanding how and when to escalate issues where appropriate.
    • Excellent communication and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and interact effectively across different levels of the organization.

    Physical Demands:

    • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

    • Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
    • Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
    • Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time.
    • Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
    • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Vision. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; using measurement devices; at distances close to the eyes. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close hearing, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
