- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Writing and implementing efficient code.
- Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics.
- Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. Acts as team leader on projects.
- Participates in development of software user manuals. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
- Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
- Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to meet with senior employees and representatives to brainstorm, discuss ideas related to application design, project plan, coding, testing and release of the application.
- Ability to diagnose and improve UX/UI and fix bugs.
- API development, tools and best practices.
- Application Security.
- Performance tuning.
- DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Knowledge/experience using Agile Methodologies.
- Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices.
- Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, or Windows within an Agile product delivery team.
- 2+ years proven experience in coding using programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, and Objective-C.
- Database experience for mobile, web, and server development using Cloud Firestore, Firebase or similar.
- Experience developing in Cloud Platforms.
- Experience deploying to apps stores and knowledge of Developer Program Policies for Google Play for Android and Apple's App Store for iOS.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security clearance.
