    Controls Engineer (PLC programming exp. req.) Description

    Our client, a project-based automation company located just 20 minutes north of Plano, TX, is seeking a collaborative and passionate Controls Engineer to join their team.

    Their team continues to be in growth mode and is adding both mid-senior level engineers. This role will involve designing, installing, and modifying integrated systems for their customers across a variety of verticals.

    Controls Engineer (PLC programming exp. req.) Responsibilities


    Set up, configure, and troubleshoot complex systems


    Engage customers by reviewing schematics and delivering guidance


    Partner cross-functionally to ensure project deliverables


    Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs


    Conduct simulations to review and test the functionality


    Drive efficiency, product quality, and flawless performance


    Stay ahead of the curve through continuous education


    Design components and automation strategies


    Travel to client sites, delivering installation, testing, and support
    Controls Engineer (PLC programming exp. req.) Qualifications


    3+ years of controls engineering experience required


    Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience required


    Engineering background within manufacturing required


    Ability to travel 30-40% domestically and minimal international travel (
