    Description

    Located just minutes away from all the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for an On-Call Promotions Clerk that will be responsible for representing the Tuscany Casino, assisting guests and facilitating promotions and events.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish new guests with Players Club membership and aid in maintaining and updating guest accounts as needed. Responsible for signing up new players in the Players Club each week.
    • Promote the success of the Players Club by explaining this marketing tool to guests, issuing membership cards, and demonstrating the various methods of use.
    • Record information on new customers and update computer files as needed.
    • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures.
    • Resolve miscellaneous guest complaints, referring to the appropriate supervisor when necessary.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of the Players Club to effectively explain all aspects to guests.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to a changing clientele and environment.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of company facilities, as well as special events on property, to advise guests and fellow Team Members of same, whenever possible.
    • Responsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner
    • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
    • Adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
    • Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of Customer Service experience. Basic computer and typing skills. General knowledge of gaming, including slots, video, bingo and card games a plus. Computer experience with database. Must maintain a professional appearance. Positive customer service, communication and listening skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor. Always maintain positive guest relations, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction. Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Neat, clean appearance is a must, Bi-lingual preferred. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Minimum age requirement is 21.
