This position is responsible for acquiring and maintaining an expertise in Allscripts and PrimeSuite PMS and EHR software.
In addition, the position provides support and training of essential system functions to providers and clinical staff for the Medical Practice Management System and/or Electronic Health Record and PC operating skills.
Essential Duties
Trains one-to-one or in small group settings during the initial implementation of the software as well as new employee and new revision training.
Visits all provider offices assigned and is readily available to support individual providers and staff as quickly as possible with their EHR system training needs.
Creates training sessions to accommodate learning at all skill levels.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or technical degree; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience working in a healthcare or professional training setting with daily exposure to computer use.
Experience in Instructional design is preferred.
Demonstrated training experience and knowledge of electronic medical/health records systems preferred.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
