    Job Description


    SCOPE OF POSITION
    A.

    The Program Manager of Curriculum-based Programs will integrate Ballad Health and its clinical resources to Primary, Secondary, and post-Secondary students thereby providing a seamless transition from grades 5-8 into the Appalachian Highlands Healthcare Academy training in High School and then transitioning to post-secondary education.

    A. Understand and support the requirements of health science curriculums in 5-8 grade.
    B. Provide support to the 5-8 grade classes through provision of professional speakers and equipment
    C. Coordinate with the Program Manager for Secondary Education Integration programs to ensure seamless transitions of students
    D. Coordinate clinical shadowing experiences for students within the program
    E. Understand the admissions requirements of the various post-Secondary programs
    F. Track and monitor the students through the program and provide career counseling as needed
    G. Implement college pathways for the students within the program
    H. Ensure this aspect program meets the vision of the overall program as outlined by the Corporate Director of Secondary Education Programs

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, three to five years of work experience in teaching, educational administration, or clinical education and be a strong collaborator who can work in a matrixed environment and team setting to accomplish goals in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
