Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Aide, UHS Wilson Medical Center


United Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Aide to join our WMC Therapy and Rehabilitation Support department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.

This position is benefits eligible.

Salary range:
$ $19.57 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview


Maintains a clean and neat environment on a daily basis, keeps supplies in their proper order, distributes supplies, assists professional staff with patient transports in a timely manner, and assists patients with ambulation and predetermined exercise programs by following instructions accurately.

Priority is given to those duties that require patient movement within the system and assisting the professional staff with patient treatment.


Qualifications:

Education/Experience


Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Has a working knowledge of medical terminology, previous experience in patient care and clerical skills
License/Certification


Minimum Required:

  • CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
