    Description

    Optomi in partnership with a leader in the financial industry is seeking a developer to design and architect scalable web applications using JavaScript, Node, and AWS. As well as optimizing database queries, API endpoints, and frontend rendering for improved speed and efficiency.

    • Expert Level Knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular, Ember, etc), knowledge of multiple JavaScript Frameworks
    • Expert Level Knowledge of and server-side web application development/frameworks (Express, etc)
    • Expert Level Knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • Expert Level Knowledge of 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility
    • Experience building web applications using AWS (S3, Lambda, Elasticache, etc)
    • Knowledge of JavaScript Testing Frameworks
    • Knowledge of GraphQL and experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL Data Stores
    • Experience writing custom Grunt or Gulp Tasks Required Behavioral & Communication Skills

    Key Responsibilities

    • Designing and architecting scalable and maintainable web applications, including database schema design, backend architecture, and frontend structure.
    • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend components of web applications.
    • Implementing user interfaces, business logic, APIs, and integrating with external services and databases.
    • Writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of web applications.
