    SUMMARY STATEMENT:

    Maintenance Tech responsibility is to perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, and structure of the facility

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem from time to time.*Food safety or quality responsibilities within job.

    All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.1. Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.2. Assures preventive maintenance program is conducted on all plant equipment 3. Document any issues that require follow up repairs/replacement and submit to the Maintenance Supervisor to generate work orders 4. Participation in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.5. Unscheduled repairs of production equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.6. Supports quality control programs to ensure production procedures are in compliance with food safety and quality standards.7. Follow the company policy on Food Safety, Sanitation, GMP and USDA guidelines8.

    Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance SupervisorRequirements:


    • High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent
    • 1-2 yrs experience food manufacturing,
    • Available to work hours shift
    • Ability to work in a cold environment will be exposed to wet or humid conditions
    • Physical demands
    :

    continuously required to stand or walk, must frequently lift and / or push/ pull up to 50lb with the aid of a team member
