Maintenance Assistant Needed

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team and help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance at our program site._

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall cleanliness, order, and safety of our facilities.

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the success of our organization.


We are currently looking to hire a part-time Maintenance Assistant for Mondays and Fridays, from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Salary Range:
$20.25/HR

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Mission Statement and agency values of Search.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned work sites according to Search standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, community members, and affiliated agencies.
  • Ensure all equipment is wellmaintained and monitor supplies necessary for maintaining the physical plant environment.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures for handling equipment and hazardous materials.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively in the absence of direct supervision.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisor regarding task status, material supplies, and site needs.
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies and corporate compliance regulations.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Provide flexibility in schedule to respond to emergencies, including snow removal and other weatherrelated events.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in various areas of maintenance/janitorial.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Proficiency in performing basic physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, kneeling, reaching, crouching, bending, and twisting.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
