Job Description

Responsibilities:

Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, bills, receipts, and bank statements.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Generate financial reports and assist with variance analysis as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with the preparation of tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding billing and payment issues.
Support the accounting manager with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1+ years of experience in accounting or finance role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting standards.
Prior experience in the hospitality or service industry is a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
