Description
Starting Rate: $9.00 an hour + tips
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide exceptional guest service at all times.
2. Deliver drinks to customers in professional manner.
3. Must be well organized.
4. Consistently circulate in assigned area to ensure guests receive requested beverages.
5. Able to read and check a customer's identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age.
6. Receive money and / or credit cards and be able to use a credit card machine and cash register.
7. Keep casino floor area clear of glasses and bottles.
8. Professionally refuse to serve customers who appear to be intoxicated.
9. Wear required uniforms and follow all company policies and procedures.
10. May be required to operate POS system and mix and serve drinks and/or food while breaking a bartender.
JOB PREREQUISITES:
Qualifications
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Customer service and beverage skills. Basic math skills. Must be able to count change.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma liquor license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maneuver in the casino, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints. Must be able to stand and/or walk for 7 12 hours per day. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stretch, bend, kneel, twist and reach. Must be able to taste, feel, smell, see and be able to read, write and speak basic English
WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
