- Creative Direction for a variety of projects and deliverables for theme parks, physically immersive installations, experiential marketing, video game design, physical interactives, and unique human interfaces
- Understanding client needs and translating key objectives into creative concepts that engage and immerse users through narrative and aesthetics
- Oversee high-value IP/brand pitches and managing the full creative process - from conceptualization, to pitch, through execution
- Expertise in all/majority of the following: concepting, UX design, motion graphics, creative technology experiences, narrative development, lighting design, and designing for immersive technologies
- Work along side experience producers to take responsibility for project's creative delivery, client communication, and management of creative talent
- Provide feedback on production and staffing plans while working with the teams across multiple departments to deliver projects on time and budget
- Create style guides, mood boards, concepts, defining the overall look of pitches/projects, and develop creative assets
- Support projects through completion, which could sometimes require travel to install locations, including on some weekends and holidays, depending on project schedule
- Lead the creative team by inspiring, advising, mentoring, and developing tools / methodologies / workflows that ensure delivery of award winning creative
- Take ownership of department profitability across company projects
- Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment whilst juggling multiple projects and priorities
- Talent management including hiring, reviews and providing consistent and constructive feedback
- Take a significant role in the entire project pitch cycle - from initial client brief, ideation, estimation, pitching and securing work - to ensuring we meet client needs to win work
- A genuine passion for project conception and desire to attract the best clients and project
- Be a known face for Future Colossal, taking part in public speaking, conferences and client functions representing Future Colossal
- Working with the Marketing team, oversee the visual brand representation of Future Colossal through all marketing and web footprints
- A portfolio demonstrating personal creative abilities and projects that you have lead
- 10+ years experience in a relevant creative role
- 3+ years experience in a creative leadership position
- Vast client management skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both on a technical and creative basis
- Successful track record of pitching concepts and contracting projects
- Proven experience being able to efficiently run multiple simultaneous projects, teams, and responsibilities
- Strong time management & organization skills

Job DescriptionFuture Colossal, an award-winning innovation lab for experiential technologies in advertising, entertainment, and art, is seeking a creative powerhouse that will drive Future Colossal's vision on themed, immersive, and interactive experiences. The Creative Director will be charged with leading aesthetic, motion, narrative, and conceptual development - from ideation to execution - on projects ranging from theme parks, experiential marketing, immersive installation, and cause based. The Creative Director will lead the creative department and work alongside executives and other leadership to manage and grow the company.
