About the team:

Creative Lab is TikTok's in-house creative consultancy for brands and creative companies. We work collaboratively with key accounts, creative agencies, and in-house creative teams to inspire creativity and advance TikTok-first thinking.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead creative strategy for key business verticals. You partner with Sales and crossfunctional teams, including marketing, industry strategy, and marketing science, among others, to lead creative strategy work for our most important business verticals. You set the vision and lead your team to prioritize internal business objectives. You work with your team to uncover insights, develop innovative approaches, and build creative ideas that deliver on individual client opportunities.
  • Develop and lead the growth path of a diverse, inclusive team. You lead a team of creative strategists with diverse skillsets and backgrounds. You rally them around a shared goal, foster an inclusive culture, and instill a growth mindset. You help to develop each individual by reviewing their work, expanding their skills, and accelerating their ideas.
  • Show up as a team and organizational leader. You report to the Head of Creative Lab for North America and work collaboratively with Creative Lab and Global Business Solutions leadership to deliver on our mission and goals.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients and creative partners. You foster productive relationships externally, with seniorlevel clients, and internally, among crossfunctional leads. You uncover insights and new opportunities for partnership.
  • Strengthen and amplify vertical thought leadership. You'll develop vertical specific POVs for how brands show up on TikTok to drive toward deeper partnership. You work to develop and spotlight case study worthy work to inspire the industry at large.
  • Execute as a keen operator. You develop processes and resources to support the team to consistently deliver against objectives and deliverables at a high level. You are adept at navigating ambiguity with solution oriented approaches.

Qualifications:


Main Qualifications:


  • Must be willing to work out of our offices in New York, NY
  • 3+ years managing teams
  • Experience working with brands in the technology and/or apps verticals.
  • Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to solve for complex business problems through compelling creative strategies, breakthrough creative ideas, and engaging presentations
  • Willingness to travel to various North American regions, approx 2x/month

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience within a top tier creative agency, brand creative group or a creative role within a technology company.
  • A portfolio that showcases previous creative/strategic work.
  • Passion for TikTok, the power of the platform, its communities, and the creative possibilities it can unlock
  • Experience creating content on or for TikTok.
  • Deep interest and understanding of the social/digital space, as well as the creator economy.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $200000 annually.
