About the team:

Creative Lab is TikTok's in-house creative consultancy for brands and creative companies. We work collaboratively with key accounts, creative agencies, and in-house creative teams to inspire creativity and advance TikTok-first thinking.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage creative strategy for key clients. You partner with Sales leadership and other crossfunctional leaders to develop creative strategy solutions for our most important clients. You proactively prioritize internal business objectives and propose solutions that solve clients' business problems.
  • Build creative models that inspire creativity on TikTok. Level up and inspire all internal and external partners on TikTok with creative education. Manage your team on ways to provide realtime consultation on creative strategies, workshops, best practices, trends presentations, and more.
  • Inspire the industry. You're an expert and forecasting trends and navigating behaviors from our community. You are constantly seeking education on updates to our products and platform, and shifts in the broader business. You're a leader and trusted within the creative industry. You are fearless when it comes to crafting larger creative opportunities. You work with brands and agencies to develop best in class creative on TikTok.
  • Manage your teams projects in a fastgrowing startup. We don't believe in project managers and layers of bureaucracy. You empower your team to be efficient multitakers through example. You prioritize your own projects, manage your own deadlines, and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with other XFN partners.
  • Champion our branded solutions. You are a master at translating ad product benefits, capabilities, and features that translates to creative recommendations and best practices for clients.
  • Build a world class team. Build, nurture, and grow a worldclass team of deep creative generalists — where every person draws on their unique experiences and backgrounds to create impact.

Qualifications:


Main Qualifications:


  • Must be willing to work out of our offices in New York, NY
  • 3+ years managing teams
  • Experience working with brands in the technology and/or apps verticals.
  • Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to solve for complex business problems through compelling creative strategies, breakthrough creative ideas, and engaging presentations
  • Willingness to travel to various North American regions, approx 2x/month

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience within a top tier creative agency, brand creative group or a creative role within a technology company.
  • A portfolio that showcases previous creative/strategic work.
  • Passion for TikTok, the power of the platform, its communities, and the creative possibilities it can unlock
  • Experience creating content on or for TikTok.
  • Deep interest and understanding of the social/digital space, as well as the creator economy.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $200000 annually.
