    53 - Host/Hostess Job Opportunity

    Get ready for a special opportunity at 53, where a unique blend of Asian cuisine is served in a modern, chic setting. Join a team led by the renowned Chef Akmal Anuar and hospitality visionaries behind NYC favorites like Marea and Ai Fiori.

    Located at 53 W 53rd St., this three-story restaurant boasts a stylish dining room that transitions seamlessly from day to night, all under the watchful eye of MoMA's extended wing. As a bonus, the Friedrich Petzel Gallery is collaborating to bring a rotating art program to the space.

    If you're passionate and dedicated, we want you as a Host/Hostess. Work in an inclusive, nurturing environment alongside industry leaders and enthusiastic team members.

    Host/Hostess Responsibilities:

    • Greet and engage guests warmly and professionally
    • Manage reservations and client database efficiently
    • Have a good understanding of 53's menus, concept, and policies
    • Handle various guest interactions effectively
    • Maintain a clean and safe dining environment

    Host/Hostess Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a host or reservationist preferred
    • Passion for hospitality and service
    • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
    • Physically able to handle restaurant tasks
    • Flexible schedule and full-time availability
