    Description

    Job Title: Nutrition Host/Hostess

    Do you have a passion for ensuring that patients receive the right nutrition while in a healthcare setting? We are currently looking for a Nutrition Host/Hostess to join our team and oversee patient satisfaction by delivering meal trays and ensuring their dietary needs are met.

    • Remains available to patients during meal times to ensure correct orders and overall satisfaction.
    • Gathers patient food preferences using tablets and other resources.
    • Effectively communicates with patients, nurses, and family members to guarantee a positive dining experience.
    • Collaborates with dietitians and fellow team members to enhance efficiency in nutrition services.
    • Works closely with the floor dietitian for education, consultations, and dietary changes.
    • May assist in catering duties such as buffet setup and food delivery.
    • Ensures availability of necessary supplies on assigned units.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Knowledge of nutritional abbreviations.
    • Previous experience in food service/nutrition is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
