    Position Type:

    Our core expertise lies in the development and production of reliable and consistent premium-grade adeno-associated viral vectors (AAV).

    Our team is made up of scientists who know viral vectors and have supported numerous gene therapy programs through the clinic to market.

    Our team has over 120 years of combined experience in the cell & gene therapy field, and because of this, we understand the unique process requirements to develop and manufacture gene therapy products throughout the entire drug lifecycle.

    We take a partnership approach to ensure that rare and ultra-rare gene therapies have a viable path to patients.

    Visit us at Summary The Controller at VintaBio will serve as the head of our finance department, playing a crucial role in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

    This individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, audits, budgeting, and financial planning.

    The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in finance or accounting, with a proven track record in a similar role, preferably in the CDMO or related industries.

    all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues, and strategize solutions for and year-end closing duties and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the organizations goals.

    Education and Experience degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

    Previous Controller experience is required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).understanding of accounting software such as financial reporting requirements, including experience in a CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing financial management software and advanced Excel skills.analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
