    Description

    Director/Manager of Finance & Operations (Remote)

    A top early stage venture capital fund is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance & Operations to join our team. This is a fully remote, internal, back-office role focused on leading our financial and operational functions. You will report directly to the founder/General Partner.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Management:

    • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital calls, distributions and accounting.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions

    Operations Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fund, including managing our SaaS backend and service providers.
    • Implement and maintain efficient internal processes and systems.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
    • Assist with portfolio and LP tasks
    • Liaise with legal team and outside stakeholders

    Other:

    • Work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Have high integrity and resilience.
    • Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who works well independently.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or be a CPA preferred.
    • Experience working at an accounting firm and a startup or company is ideal.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
    • Must be authorized to work in the US without a visa.
    • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and financial software is a plus.

    Competitive Salary & Benefits:

    We offer a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is estimated between $60, ,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a generous vacation and paid leave policy.
