    Surya fosters an energetic work environment of creativity and collaboration, with each employee taking personal ownership in the company. We are seeking to hire a talented Staff Accountant to join our team.

    The Staff Accountant will perform a variety of tasks including reconciliations (particularly for large bank accounts and credit cards), journal entries, researching variances, running reports and a variety of ad hoc projects.

    This person will work in conjunction with a variety of individuals across the Accounting and Finance Teams.

    Responsibilities of the

    Senior Accountant:

    • The Senior Accountant will reconcile multiple large bank and credit card accounts.
    • Research, resolve and communicate any discrepancies or outstanding balances on the reconciliations.
    • Prepare daily bank reports to send to Senior Management
    • Review bank postings for AR and AP
    • Establish and maintain confidential company files and records.
    • Perform other duties as assigned as an accounting professional.
    Qualifications for the

    Senior Accountant:

    • Accounting or Finance Degree Required
    • 2-3 years Accounting or similar Finance experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required.
    • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material in this accounting position.
