Position Summary Information
Essential Duties Summary
Teach undergraduate courses emphasizing computational biology as a field and computational skills for biology majors.
Teaching duties include existing or new upper level lecture, seminar and computational laboratory courses, and possibly prerequisite courses at the introductory level.
The teaching load is five courses per year. This is a one-year position, renewable up to two years, beginning Summer 2024 for the academic year.Required Qualification Summary
Applicants must be active scientists with strong skills and background in biology who can teach computational biology courses. Applicants should have a Ph.
D. relevant to the position.
Preferred Qualification Summary
We seek broadly trained biologists who use the research tools and expertise of computational biology and data science to study one or more biological systems.
Salary Range $82,000 - $82,000
