About This Role:
Forrester's Research Associate is part of the company's B2B marketing research team.

This individual works with a team of analysts whose research and advisory guide today's marketing leaders to proactively engineer alignment within their organizations and harness the collective capabilities of the organization to ignite customer-obsessed growth.

The Research Associate supports the team's analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory materials.

This role is integral to helping carry out primary research, perform technology and business analysis, write actionable reports, and advise clients to advance B2B marketing leadership initiatives and success.

Successful candidates will report to a research ops and delivery manager and will assist several analysts within the B2B marketing space in accelerating their strategic decisions, understanding market trends, and comparing their strategy with industry best practices.

Job Description:

Manage research projects by working with assigned analysts. Formulate a project plan, establish a check-in process, coordinate research, and manage schedule.
Take part in client calls, primarily in a note-taking/support role. Distill complex information into the most relevant and actionable points.
Assist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports, including telephone interviews, online surveys, and internal and third-party data.
Support analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and a slide sequence that tells a story.
Maintain the report production schedule, from inception through publication.
Conduct and handle quantitative work with Forrester's data sets.
Help in collecting and analyzing team performance metrics through data dashboards.

Job Requirements:

A BA/BS degree and a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.
One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.
A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
The ability to write precisely, logically, and professionally.
Attention to detail; the ability to build reusable resources such as survey questions and formatted data outputs.
Intellectual curiosity about technology and its impact on business and society; enthusiasm to learn from and actively engage with colleagues, including senior analysts.
The ability to multitask and work independently with a team under tight deadlines.
A professional demeanor; excellent project management and organizational skills.

Please note that the base salary range listed here applies to New York City; base salary will be dependent on an employee's primary working location and the employee's skills compared to the requirements of the role.

At Forrester, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
