- Coordinate and complete administrative projects and tasks by identifying, recommending, and implementing systems; for HRA Board, program staff or otherwise directed by Administrator.
- Represent the project/program on multi-department or inter-agency task forces, committees, and related organizations.
- Coordinate partnership activities with both external and internal stakeholders that help achieve the goals of the project or program.
- Provide leadership in development and delivery of outreach and educational programs and materials.
- Coordinate planning, development, and implementation of programs including development of standards, regulations, and appraisal systems.
- Oversee the collection and organization of information for reports, case studies, and other documentation related to the project or program managed.
- Communicate effectively with the public, City staff, and other agencies ensuring dissemination of complete and accurate information through oral, written and/or in-person interactions.
- Participate in developing request for proposals, bids, revision to rules, regulations, ordinances, and other formal documentation for the review and approval of elected officials, and other governing bodies.
- Manage and maintain formal monitoring systems to ensure compliance with standards. Manage operational activities of the program or project, including record keeping, computer applications, grantor reporting, etc.
- Create, update, coordinate and/or manage marketing materials for HRA programs.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and monitoring technical and legal processing of land acquisition and disposition.
- Manage properties to ensure they are maintained and secured.
- Maintain data appropriately and accurately with ability to report out; be data designee for HRA Division.
- Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.

Primary Objective
The Program Specialist I brings strong organizational support, administrative, and professional skills to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) team to develop, support, and implement the City's priorities, projects, and initiatives. This position coordinates and carries out the administrative functions for the effective and efficient operation of the HRA, as a division of the Community Development Department.
This position is onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
