    Job Description

    Purpose of Position:

    This role involves supporting the Product Management and Sales Department by acting as a link between the corporate office and various vendors and service providers.

    Accountabilities:

    • Assist Product management team with:
    • East and West coast inventory updates, manifest uploads, order shipping, and allocation maintenance.
    • Updating vessel and manifest tracker for import seasons from Peru and Chile.
    • Uploading contracts for approval when necessary.
    • Processing invoices/payments for year-round Fruit purchases by grape team.
    • Handling invoices for 3rd party services related to the Blueberry program and West coast operations.
    • Maintaining and updating purchases database and Operational invoices tracker.
    • Coordinating new vendors' information with compliance, Food safety, and payables department for system setup, including keeping information current on a yearly basis.
    • Facilitating payment processing for grape and blueberry invoices, including maintaining payables log and ensuring timely payments.
    • Communicating quality issues to growers/shippers/vendors during import and purchases.
    • Managing forms and documentation between new customers and Del Monte's AR department.
    • Maintaining customer profiles and sending sales confirmations and invoices daily.
    • Assisting sales team with file reconciliation and handling customer claims.
    • Running daily/weekly reports on USDA Market, sales summaries, and inventory for warehouses.
    • Utilizing Produce Pro and Power BI for required reports.
    • Preparing weekly sales and inventory reports for internal stakeholders.
    • Generating USDA Market reports with benchmarking data.
    • Helping Sales team with historical sales data and supporting with special projects, reports, and admin tasks.

    Minimum Skills Required:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
    • 2 to 3 years of experience in roles like customer service, project coordination, or sales assistant.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Preferably, previous administrative and accounting coordination experience.
    • Apt at working effectively with minimal supervision.
