- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of production orders.
- Capacity Planning: Assess production capacity and resource constraints to optimize production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory control teams to manage inventory levels, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts while ensuring sufficient stock availability to meet customer demand.
- Material Planning: Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast material requirements, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, engineering, and quality assurance, to coordinate production activities, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor production performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory turnover, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve production targets and KPIs.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization of production planning workflows to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the production planning team, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of [7 years] of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations management, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, capacity planning techniques, and inventory management concepts.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, build effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive results in a collaborative environment.
