- Oversees inventory controls in all temperature zones.
- Researches all inventory discrepancies and performs inventory adjustments if necessary.
- Processes returns from the customers and authorizes credits.
- Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, pick slips, and receiver reports.
- Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
- Completes all functions pertaining to annual inventory counts.
- Ensures compliance with USDA and FDA regulations and acts as the primary interface with regulatory representatives
- High School diploma
- Prior purchasing experience, preferably in a food distribution environment
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Management experience
- AIB International Food Safety Certification or SQF Practitioner for 3+ years.
- PCQI Certification or Obtainable within 18 months
- HACCP Certification or in training
- Microsoft Office skills
