SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, the Senior IT Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. This position performs troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. This position also analyzes current and potential systems issues, ensuring that ATSs tactical goals will be met, while complying with ATS standards and meeting the needs of employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
+ Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
+ Analyzes and solves difficult technical problems with general direction.
+ Administers help desk software.
+ Diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and coordinates and implements repair efforts based on the issue and details provided by the customer.
+ Walks customer through problem solving process.
+ Records events and problems and their resolution.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Associates degree in computer science and minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Experience with Windows operating systems: Windows 2008, Windows 2012, O365 online, Windows 7 and Windows 10.
+ Prior experience in IT support required.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
The full base pay range for this position is $25.00 $38.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
