We are looking for a:

Managing Director for a Specialized Media House (m/f/d)
Our client is a media group located in northern Bavaria.

The position of Managing Director is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the specialized publishing houses within the guidelines set by the holding company, ensuring continuous and successful business development.

The Managing Director will further develop existing topics and establish new areas when opportunities arise.

They will be responsible for the overall conditions, professional work processes, and training of employees, and will work with the team to develop brands, products, and services for the target audience.

The Managing Director will also maintain relationships with key representatives of the target audience and associations within the specialized press industry.


Your future responsibilities:

  • Successfully develop the specialized publishing houses in line with the agreed strategy with the holding company, with the goal of continuously and sustainably increasing the company's value and customer and employee satisfaction. The Managing Director will represent the company's interests both internally and externally and will have overall financial responsibility.
  • Actively and continuously develop the organization, taking into account modern approaches to employee recruitment, engagement, and involvement, as well as process and project organization.
  • Further acquisitions and object purchases are planned, and as such, the Managing Director will be responsible for the entire M&A process, from due diligence to the integration of new companies, departments, or brands.
