    Description
    Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Accounting and Budget Group of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will lead teams in defining core roles and responsibilities for Branch financial community. You will be responsible for SSP internal financial process changes and business rules. You will coordinate business rule updates with the ERP business office. You will develop and maintain an internal Financial Management training program.

    You will conduct training sessions with new employees and leads annual refreshers with the SSP financial community on internal policies and processes.

    You will conduct ad hoc financial working groups to enhance the Financial Management user experience.

    You will serve as the Command's G-invoicing point of contact, attending external meetings and disseminating pertinent information to SSP workforce.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
    performing budget formulation and execution and utilizing financial systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.

    PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

    To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
