    Description

    Dexian is seeking a Data Controls Analyst with Risk, Audit, or Tech for an opportunity with a client located in Jersey City, NJ.

    Managing Data Control Governance - Ensuring process controls, data validation activities, and measurement processes remain timely and relevant
    Analysis of datasets and the ability to find patters and conclusions within the data
    Business analysis should work under minimal supervision that require creative solutions and, possibly, automated solutions
    Support and contribute to data collection efforts, as needed
    Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
    Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics
    Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels
    Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency
    Hire, coach and develop field to exceed customer expectations
    Monitor system performance, data integrity and usage metrics
    Contribute to data dictionary, standards, training, and ongoing updates

    Bachelor's degree / or equivalent work experience
    Experience analyzing data, either in finance or another data control environment
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
    Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities skills needed to perform complex data analysis
    Ability to create management-ready presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
    Strongly prefer a candidate with advanced knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI; Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point) including advanced Data Visualization skills and Excel
