Job Summary:

The purpose of the courier is to render delivery service to departments and affiliates of the hospital. In addition, when not performing deliveries, will perform scheduling for imaging services. Maintains file system as needed. Answer phones and give patients instructions.


Job Requirements:


Minimum Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.


Minimum Experience Requirement:

On-the-job training. Some typing experience is preferred. Excellent customer services skills required.


Minimum License Requirement:

Current, valid Driver's License.

Must be 21 years of age or older; must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California.

If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement; must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving w/suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving); must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period; must have no more than one (1) at
- fault accident in a three (3) year period. Accidents will be considered at-fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault.
