    Shoreline Pet Lodge is a pet boarding and small group doggy daycare facility in Branford, CT.

    We are looking for a Pet Care Specialist to work with us 25-35 hours a week.

    Required to work one day each weekend and must be available for a shift on holidays.

    Animal experience is preferred. Hourly wage corresponds with experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Heavy emphasis on cleaning dog sleeping areas and play spaces
    • Supervise dogs in play groups (5-12 dogs), following safety protocols
    • Provide individual activities for dogs such as walks, plays, agility, baths
    • Monitor, document, and report all pet interactions to ensure health and wellness of our pet guests
    • Prepare and deliver meals to pet guests, following owner's instructions

    Requirements:

    • Reliable, hard working, excellent attendance, time management
    • MUST be able to follow directions, pay attention to detail and safety directions
    • Ability to stand for 4 hours, stoop, lift up to 40lbs., and work in all types of weather (rain, wind, snow, etc.)
    • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team whose focus is the well-being of pets in our care
    • Must have own transportation
