    Job Summary:


    As a Patient Services Coordinator I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a healthcare setting.

    You will assist patients with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
    • Proven experience in customer service or a related field
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and practices is a plus
    • Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health records systems

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
    • Answer phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel
    • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
    • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
    • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care
    • Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations in handling patient information
    • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

    Working Conditions:

    • Fulltime position in a healthcare facility
    • May require occasional evening or weekend hours
    • Fastpaced environment with frequent patient interaction
