**Current Need**
The McKesson Contract Administration team is hiring a Senior Contract Support Specialist in Irving TX.
**Position Description**
This critical role will provide colleagues, business partners, and leadership timely review and updates on contract eligibility requests. Work closely with various internal and external business partners to proactively address any account discrepancies and costing inquiries. Provide guidance to field sales when to work with GPOs and suppliers to validate contract costing eligibility. Represent Contract Administration on conference calls and any necessary off-site meetings. Work closely with management to identify, develop, and implement process efficiencies. This critical role will encompass being a subject matter expert, while ensuring we are driving compliance and providing senior level support for the Contract Administration Onboarding team.
**Key Responsibilities**
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and will provide guidance on escalations without formal management responsibilities; may utilize internal or external resources to accomplish goals.
Maintain the supplier blast vendor list by reviewing quarterly sales per supplier.
Provide timely review of cost change, UOM, item maintenance or additional tasks in JDE that are within RLCA1000 role.
Collaborate with internal and external teams in order to streamline customer contract eligibility.
Foster relationships with suppliers in order to help provide thorough review of Tier Eligibility gaps, as well as promoting consistent lines of communication to maintain supplier blast efficiencies.
Obtain supporting contract documentation from suppliers through constant correspondence and inform Sales Team by communicating eligibility issues.
Administer supplier contracts through the CAMS contract system based on supplier documentation (including loading customer to contracts as supported by supplier, portals, customer, or GPO documentation).
Maintain SOPs and required documentation to meet SOX and other compliance standards.
Collaborate with various technology groups to create automated workflow tools within Contract Admin.
Fluidly address issues, drive root cause analysis initiatives, and deliver on agreed upon commitments.
Develop and execute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed.
Address key areas of opportunity in daily workstreams by working with Leadership; offering ideas for process optimization to drive efficiencies for the business.
Work independently on ad-hoc requests and projects assigned by Leadership.
**Minimum Requirements**
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
**Critical Skills**
1+ years of Contracts or Proposal experience
Experience utilizing: Salesforce, JDE, SAP
Strong Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proficient with T.O.A.D and Access
Proven successful in working independently as a strong decisive thinker while managing competing priorities
Experience working within a high-volume support driven environment with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills interacting with cross functional internal teams
