- Perform service, testing, inspection, programming, and installation of low voltage Fire Alarm Systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary local licensure, including the CSA Card.
- Respond to on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and address code and non-conformance issues at customer sites, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with our team and electrical installers to install and commission new fire alarm systems, contributing to project success and client satisfaction.
- Execute work in a safe manner, following all required safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Travel within Colorado and Wyoming to job sites as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Perform work in challenging environments, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment, while maintaining a focus on safety.
- Utilize construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to understand and execute installation activities effectively.
- Willingness to become or be a member of the IBEW Local Union 68, fostering a commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fire alarm systems, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in the field.
- Minimum NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems, showcasing technical competence and knowledge.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Denver Fire Alarm Systems Installer license (CSA Card), ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- At least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED as minimum educational requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, enabling reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to carry and maneuver equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds, facilitating effective job performance.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced construction environment, including exposure to outdoor conditions and varying weather conditions.
