- Assist in managing the end-to-end global tax accounting process for quarterly and annual reporting requirements including the US & non-US income tax provisions
- Serve as a point of contact with an external 3rd party outsourced tax team
- Assist with global tax planning strategies across all jurisdictions
- Ensure tax policies and procedures support the Company's governance and business objectives
- Assist the 3rd party outsourced tax team with global consolidated income tax provision calculations and associated regulatory and management reporting
- Monitor and analyze tax regulatory and compliance developments and tax law changes
- Lead the indirect tax compliance, reporting, and accounting activities including but not limited to US Sales and Use tax, GST, VAT, and other business taxes
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing reports and documentation, including annual requirements and review of new transactions
- 5+ years tax experience, including global tax planning and compliance within public accounting or industry. Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
- Understanding of US tax laws, rules and regulations and an appropriate understanding of indirect and international tax matters.
- Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system) and experience with OneSource tax software preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact and team with professionals in various functional areas to resolve complex issues throughout the organization
- Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business environment

Description
General DescriptionFlexsys seeks a Tax Manager to assist its global tax planning and compliance efforts. This position will collaborate with Senior Management and provide strategic tax guidance and decision support for critical business operations and projects. The Tax Manager will work in a hands-on role supporting all aspects of US and foreign international tax and global transfer pricing for all segments of the Flexsys business. The Tax Manager will also serve as a point of contact to the 3rd party outsourced tax team, who will be providing both domestic and international tax coverage.
