- Act as clients' trusted advisor, showcasing knowledge of industry trends, identifying client issues, and proactively presenting solution options to clients and the team
- Supervise staff on engagement deliverables (e.g., financial statements, tax returns, work papers), conduct technical and strategic reviews as part of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are upheld, and ensure timely and within-budget delivery
- Demonstrate adept technical skills in managing all client responsibilities, including staying informed about trends, industries, and alternatives
- Comprehend the clients' organization, procedures, and internal policies
- Drive new client development in collaboration with upper management, engage in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development, and achieve individual cross-serving goals
- Manage and nurture multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects
- Develop the overall engagement budget
- Consistently achieve charge hour goals
- Handle billing and realization for assigned clients, explaining any discrepancies
- Oversee, train, and guide staff; engage in effective listening and communication
- Cultivate a team-oriented environment, demonstrate support for management decisions, and foster a positive culture
- Engage in practice development activities that drive new business generation and cross-serving opportunities
- Perform other duties as designated
- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years of experience in public accounting or a related field
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Active CPA or equivalent certification
- Capability to oversee all aspects of client engagements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing across all organizational levels, internally and externally
- Willingness to travel as necessary based on client and business requirements
- Proficient in using relevant technology
