- Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to ensure availability of materials
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
- Implement production schedules to optimize resource utilization
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications
- Strong knowledge mechanical equipment used in manufacturing processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problemsolving abilities to address production issues promptly
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of production workers
- Proven track record of successfully supervising a production workforce
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal working related, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role
