SUMMAY OF POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to become part of our growing team. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining CPM schedules, understanding cost impacts/analysis, and communicating with Superintendents and subcontractors on the jobsite. A strong candidate should have excellent computer and communication skills, and ability to multitask and lead multiple projects at once.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Negotiates and purchases materials, services and subcontracts for assigned projects
Coordinates with leadership to ensure projects are properly manned to meet schedules/budgets
Negotiates and purchases materials, services and subcontracts for assigned projects
Monitors daily, weekly and monthly project costs; including review of change orders
Visits the project site weekly, or as required, to review problems, progress of schedule, compliance with plans and specifications, and the quality of work being performed
Documents all field directives from the owner, architect and/or General Contractor that change the scope or original design of the contract documents
Processes and coordinates all changes in the project including lost days, scope revisions, alternate construction methods, etc.
Effectively manages conflict and problem resolution
Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
Prior project management experience is preferred; preferably 2+ years
Experience and knowledge of construction is required
Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
Must have experience with Microsoft products such as word, excel and outlook
Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
