Position Overview:


As a Project Manager, you will lead various projects and initiatives that involve setting up new warehouses, installing new equipment, and designing new processes and workflows for the Network Automation and Expansion Team.

You will collaborate with the Integrations, Software Development, and Lifecycles Support team to ensure the successful implementation and integration of these projects.

**Key Responsibilities: - Operate withing a team of highly skilled members that assist with managing of projects including, but not limited to:

  • New Warehouses
  • Warehouse Retrofits
  • New equipment, technology, or Software initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Integration Manager and Project Coordinators to implement new workflows, equipment, and processes by managing the vendor(s), timeline, budget, and communication
  • Work with the Integration Manager, Technical Product Owner, and Product Owner(s) on software development, ensuring that development work supports new processes and equipment, including adhering to timelines required for successful implementation.
  • Managing a highly functioning team to achieve goals and developing team members to increase both expertise and performance
  • Create, present, and manage all documentation surrounding implementations and project(s), to include but not limited to ROI analysis, workflow documentation, and future reporting requirements
  • Review design documents for proposal compliance
  • Supervise quoting, design, and purchasing of needed equipment
  • Create detailed documentation to allow for future turnkey integrations across the distribution network.
  • Provide regular updates to Leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:


  • An analytical, detailoriented person that has an ambition to succeed in a fastpaced environment.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to create direction without prompting.
  • Ability to operate in 'gray areas' and create baseline assumptions.
  • Natural mechanical aptitude
  • General knowledge of software platforms, automation, conveyance, and other material handling equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, measure, and manipulate in AutoCad and/or similar programs is preferred.
  • Experience in Capital Equipment Installation and Implementation preferred.
  • Overnight travel out of state is required. Travel will be project dependent and based on the needs of the project(s). Travel should be no more than 50%.

Remote work qualifications

  • Access to a reliable and secure highspeed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform daytoday tasks.
  • Access to a home router and modem.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise
- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).

  • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
