- Travel to applicable conventions and seminars to obtain proactive and innovative industry knowledge.
- Perform group open enrollment meetings for self-funded and fully insured clients both in-person, and virtually.
- Present annual renewal meetings to employers and their respective CEOs, CFOs, and HR Executives as applicable within each employer.
- Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company.
- Market annual renewals for all employee benefits according to company needs and expectations.
- Research and prepare client presentations by evaluating current product results, identifying needs, monitoring competitive options, and analyzing and relaying customer experience.
- Retain existing client base by answering product and service questions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all client deliverables are met in a timely manner while constantly striving to exceed expectations.
- Sustain customer records by updating account information in applicable database systems.
- Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.
- Properly handle highly confidential and sensitive member and employer data.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- At least 5 years of Account Management in the field.
- Experienced with Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, Ancillary Lines, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability.
- Proficient with self-funding, including benefit captives.
- Life Health License required.
- Working knowledge of the industry, group insurance products and services.
- Analytical skills with effective presentation capabilities.
- Must be highly motivated and self-driven.
- Outstanding organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external audiences, including public speaking/presentations, etc.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and display a professional demeanor in all situations.

This position provides strategic relationship management and consultative services to self-funded and fully insured employers.
