    What You'll Accomplish:


    As a Brand Director on the Marketing team, you will cultivate and leverage consumer & category insights to accelerate new and existing platforms through winning go-to-market strategies.

    You will lead strategic thinking for your business holistically and across key customers, collaborating with Sales and other cross-functional partners to turn strategy into action.

    You will coach and develop a team of one Senior Brand Manager and two Associate Brand Managers, instilling a culture of strong business ownership and bias for action.

    You will develop and execute annual brand plans that include new product launches, promotional plans, marketing campaigns, merchandising and distribution opportunities.

    You will lead collaboratively, partnering with other key business leaders to create and execute strategies and plans to drive growth, e.g.

    our internal innovation team to build a differentiated and growing product line over time, as well as sales leadership on strategy, distribution, pricing, presence, promotion/merchandising.

    You will continually stay on top of brand, category, and competitive performance and trends, proactively surfacing observations, learnings, and actionable recommendations.

    You will lead brand forecasting and participate in Sales & Operations Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and consistent supply.

    You will be the voice of the Treats and Toppers business in key meetings across levels and functions within the organization as well as with customers, representing the Wellness Pet brand and playing a critical role in the business.

    In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who has:
    A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in CPG Brand Management.
    Brand Management experience with Mass/Grocery Customers.
    Demonstrated the ability to coach, develop, attract, and retain high performing talent.
    Strong, proven analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
    Experience and proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    A track record of always demonstrating grace and a positive (yet pragmatic) attitude towards challenges and opportunities.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization as well as with external partners.
    A high degree of ownership, holding themselves and others accountable and to a high standard.

    Innate curiosity with a drive to dig through and understand multiple layers to find and action against the root cause.

    A strategic mindset that is grounded in business objectives and deep understanding of the CPG environment.
