    Overview

    The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for a Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our team in Orlando, Florida. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player who is interested in building a practice and in seeing all types of cases and patients. Our unparalleled network of 30 hospitals in the state with one children's hospital at the center provides an excellent opportunity for practice growth and professional development.

    Responsibilities of the new physician will include growing high volume outpatient clinics with a wide variety of patients. It is also possible to develop a subspecialty niche depending on the physician's interests.

    You would have the opportunity to work with an expanding and committed children's hospital, with established and successful pediatric programs in Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery including spine, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Epilepsy.     Requirements of the position:
    Residency training and board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
    Fellowship training in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
    Board certification in American Board of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine (ABPMR)
    Dual training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine would also be accepted
    Ideal physician would have at least five years of clinical experience post fellowship
    Strong communication skills
    Dedication to the highest quality patient care

    Practice Description

    This is an employed opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). AHMG [website] is a 900+ physician, multi-specialty organization that offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package that includes occurrence-based malpractice coverage, health insurance, relocation expenses, paid leave days, a generous 403b retirement plan, CME days and a CME allowance. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth Orlando. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

    Location Description

    We are located in an outpatient center close to the campus of AdventHealth for Children, conveniently located close to many gorgeous homes, downtown urban living, shopping and great schools. As one of America's most visited cities, Orlando has world-class attractions including Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and numerous public beach access. Orlando is home to major league soccer (Orlando City Lions) and NBA basketball team (Orlando Magic) as well as UCF college sports. The city also has many public and private universities and colleges. Newly built Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts hosts variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the year. Orlando has many national and international airlines serving various U.S., South American, and European cities with direct flights. Finally, the greater Orlando area has about two million residents in the surrounding three county region and is one of the fastest growing areas in the South.
