    Description

    Kairoi Residential is a multifamily investment, development and property management company headquartered in San Antonio. Since 2003, the partnership has transacted on $4.3 billion across 50,000 multifamily units in many cities and states around the country. We are seeking an Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting department, including but not limited to, management of department email inbox, AP workflow for our various multi-family residential properties and corporate accounting, assistance with the construction draw process, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position works closely with the accounting team and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

    Job Duties:

    • Management of shared accounting email inbox
    • Allocate and post manual invoices
    • Field questions from internal and external vendors regarding payment status
    • Assisting with weekly payment runs
    • Monitors AP invoices in our paperless invoice repository; coordinates with accountants and operation team members to ensure invoice continues through workflow to be paid
    • Assist in preparation of the monthly and/or quarterly draws to be submitted to lenders
    • Assists corporate accounting with monthly expense report bills
    • Help with external audits by pulling requested invoices
    • Assist with annual 1099 reporting
    • Open, sort, and deliver department mail daily
    • Management of outgoing mail
    • Light travel to local banks for check deposits
    • General admin duties as required to support the accounting staff
    • Assist with special projects as needed
    Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong organization and communications skills are critical
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to work independently
    • Commitment to working as part of team
    • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable
    • Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • High attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
    Requirements

    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma required
    • 1-2 years admin or Accounts Payable experience
    Salary Description

    $19-$21/Hour
