    Job Description


    We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Charge Nurse with Level 1 ED charge experience to lead our team in a busy emergency setting. In this role, you will ensure high-quality patient care while managing a diverse group of staff and addressing both medical and behavioral health cases.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operations in the emergency department.
    • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff.
    • Ensure adherence to patient care protocols and guidelines.
    • Assist in triage and prioritizing patient treatment.
    • Foster a collaborative and respectful environment for both staff and patients.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • At least 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume emergency department.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in an emergency room setting as a nurse.
    • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications before start date.
    • ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
    • Experience in coaching and providing feedback in real-time.
    • Ability to adapt to different areas within the emergency department as needed.
