    Job Description

    RemX is seeking an Senior Payroll Specialist to join the team in Shelton, CT area.

    The Payroll Specialist supports the Payroll Team to ensure accurate and efficient processing, verification, analysis, and reporting of payroll data for multiple business entities on a regular basis.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Process all aspects of assigned payrolls accurately
    • Handle manual checks and voids promptly
    • Review and validate data between systems
    • Reconcile payroll liabilities
    • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation
    • Ensure precise year-end processing and tax reconciliation
    • Knowledge in custom reporting for business changes
    • Act as a backup support for the team

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
    • Professional Experience Required
    • FCP Certification a plus
    • Experience with database management preferred
    • Experience in multi-state payroll processing
    • Self-starter with attention to detail
    • Strong computer and communication skills
