- Preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Manage the quarter and year end close process.
- Review vendor payments set up by accounts payable prior to submission to the controller for approval.
- Preparing for the quarterly reviews and year end audits by our external auditors.
- Assisting with the management of external auditor requests.
- Assisting with various administrative tasks that flow through the finance department from other departments within the organization.
- Assist with managing and reconciling our physical inventory with our accounting records.
- Assist with the development of processes and controls.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
- Assist in the development and coaching of finance direct reports.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to internal controls and financial reporting processes.
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred.
- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience
- 2+ years in public accounting.
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Controller and will work closely with both the Controller and Chief Financial Officer. The Accounting Manager will support the accounting and finance department and be actively involved in the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process as well as the quarterly reviews and year-end audit process conducted by our external auditors. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the accounting and finance activities, as well as analyzing and reconciling accounts. This position requires strong analytical skills and critical thinking. As a public company, the work environment is dynamic and deadline driven. This position is 100% remote with minimal travel.
